Sou-Sou Exhibitor Grants

Radiate Festival are working with fellow grassroots organisation Pempeople to provide mirco-grants based on the West Indian Sou-Sou Pardna system to enable the support of others to exhibit at Radiate Windrush Festival. Grassroots community organisations & groups from across Southwark, London & South East are being welcomed to celebrate Windrush legacy & culture of migrated communities from across the Caribbean, Africa & Creole speaking Islands at this year’s Radiate Windrush Festival on 25 & 26 June 2022.

Up to £3k in micro-grants will be awarded to selcted groups who apply.

A Refreshing Idea of Community

The way we see it, our Community is both you & us together which means a whole lot. The work we do aims to create safe spaces for expression of the creative & cultural self.

Together we build block by block. Using different elements from our heritage & culture we open greater access to our Community. Our building blocks include traders, performers, food culture & specialist drinks, traditional skills, heritage knowledge, cultural history, familar relationships but best of all deep community spirit.
