   Radiate Windrush Festival Reschedules Event to 2021 Due to Coronovirus...

   SHORT VERSION:
   AS EXPECTED, RADIATE WINDRUSH FESTIVAL HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE IN 2021 & IT’S GONNA BE AMAZING!

   SLIGHTLY LONGER VERSION:
   Your health & wellbeing is important to us, so as expected this festival is rescheduled to take place in 2021. We’ve been watching weekly, waiting & hoping the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation would improve. Sadly, we’re all still suffering the massive impact of this virus & seeing many people close to us become victims of it.

   Even though our energy will be focused on 2021 we’ll ensure we stay more connected with you throughout 2020 with other opportunities to reunite & celebrate our culture.

   Big shout to thank every volunteer, participant & partner who had said yes to being involved this year, we hope we’re able to welcome them again in 2021 or sooner if chances arise. A very special acknowledgement goes out to our 2 community radio partners who tragically lost their CEO’s in this time, Lightning Radio 90.8 fm’s Mr Fox & The Rock 92.6 fm’s Mykey Simpson we salute you onwards & thank you for all your support.

   Finally a massive thank you to all of you for your ongoing support of the dream that is RADIATE, without you we would never be able to do this.

   It's a Waiting Game...

   #togetherweradiate is not just a phrase 

   Our slogan means more than anything now at this time.

   After this tide of panic and pandemic has abated, we are definitely going to need opportunities to reconnect again as a Community, as Friends and as Family. We hope that Radiate's Community empowered festivals will be one of the places you choose to release and let loose once the madness has subsided. 

   There are still a number of events both large and small scheduled to take place in June 2020, but we are not ignorant to the situation. Our team is constantly monitoring the developments along with Government guidance and is revising our strategy to ensure that we can still bring an offering for 2020 by any means even if this means looking at alternative dates, locations and set-ups. 

   Small festivals like ours don't survive without your support so we would like to thank those who are being patient in the faith that we can all come together once again very soon from now. The fine balance of organising smaller festivals is an art form of sorts - with resources, availability, outlays and a very limited window of good ole British sunshine to play with, it is always a touch and go, hair raising time.

   As part of our planning we are also working on different scenarios to ensure the health and safety of our patrons who do attend the festival, even if we have to be a little bit more cautious, creative or adventurous. We’ve got you!!!

   The government is hopeful that we will turn the tide of this within 12 weeks by week beginning 8 June 2020. Our event is just beyond that window being 13 weeks away on 20 & 21 June 2020 but for the moment we are still just watching, waiting, planning and re-planning.

   If you have sent us a message or email since this situation arose we are currently unable to respond to individual enquiries until the situation is more certain and we can provide clear concise information for you.

   Radiate Windrush Festival STILL GOING AHEAD

   We continue to review advice from Public Health England and the World Health Organisation and can confirm that Radiate Windrush Festival 2020 will go ahead as scheduled from 20 June 2020 - 21 June 2020 at Crystal Palace Park London.

   We are a London based festival with visitors and exhibitors predominantly resident within the UK. Although we understand that visitors to the festival may travel for business or leisure from a variety of locations across the world.

   We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and take the respective action where necessary to protect the health of our patrons and partners.

   We treat the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors, clients and staff with the utmost importance. Therefore we will be acting on the issued advice and guidance of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation.

   If precautionary guidance is still in place at the time of the festival (20 & 21 June 2020), we as Organisers will ensure that additional measures are in place to access enhanced sanitation measures whilst attending the festival on both days.
